Bangar Reddy grew up in India in a working-class agricultural family. “I know what it’s like to be hungry and poor – dirt-poor” and I firmly believe that education and hard work lead to success. He has served his community as a visionary leader and entrepreneur since moving to Houston more than 25 years ago, earning his Masters in Engineering and specializing in the IT industry. Bangar has called Fort Bend County home for 22 years along with his bride, Manjula and their two daughters. Bangar’s heart for public service has led him to create various non-profit organizations, help lead rehabilitation projects in communities affected by Hurricane Harvey.
In Reddy’s own words, “America has been great to me. My wife and I are proud to be able to raise our two daughters in Fort Bend County, Texas. Now it’s my duty to give back to the country that made my dreams become reality. I want our children to have a good future and access to greater opportunities in life. We don’t want to build second class America with socialist programs that divide the country into haves and have-nots. We are one America.”
